In a word, this past weekend was-great. We will blog about it more hopefully soon but we will share some pictures for now.

Avery "Diggles" Burns-don't know where that one came from....
Father and Daughter
What would a college retreat be without a hearty helping of Kale Burns?
College retreat is great for having those conversations, or extemporaneous songwriting sesh's.
The Food was-great! Thanks so much to all those who cooked!!!
Our speaker Gunner Gundersen brought it and didn't mess around. I am thinking about a lot because of his opening the word for us. It was great to see him and his wife Cindy again.
Kevin apparently learned magic over college camp. He can just look at "the chalice" and it levitates.
More evidence of Kevin's magic skills. (Actually, it is not really magic, he is not using the power of dark forces, his name is not "legion for we are many." It is more-illusion.

What a weekend

Cory and I had a great time this past weekend with the college group on Catalina. Pictures to come.

I got back on Sunday because I had to work today and had the chance to hang out and take engagement pictures for Tyler Flower and his fiance' Stephanie. It was a blast.

Check out the pictures at my photo blog at http://billblakeyphotography.blogspot.com

Graduation!!!!

I am proud to say that last week, my lovely and hard-working wife graduated from Nursing School!!! She is done!!! I am so excited for so many reasons. 1- because she will not have to go through the hard times of studying constantly any more and 2-I will get to hang out with her on weekends more (just to name a few)!!!!
Here are some pictures from the afterparty.

Here is Ben and I excited that Cory graduated (and that the pomp, circumstance and insane student speeches are over).
Cory's Parents, Ken and Susan (without them, none of this would have been possible...)
Mom and Dad Blakey- came all the way down for the event (and the after party).
The younger generation-including my wife the graduate!!!!

El Pasadena

A few weekends ago, Cory and I went with a bunch of our friends to Old Town Pasadena to hang out and celebrate the birthday of one of my best friends, Ken Flower.
Ken is a guy that I serious lee respect and dig. I have a blast with him whenever we hang, and when he does his patented velociraptor, man, pop goes my heart. Took some photos of our trip to Pasadena. Be sure to vote for the best pose with the fox contest in the post below.

Even though Ken doesn't wear his waldo shirts any more, where's Kendo?
Here is the somewhat newly engaged couple of Tyler and Stephanie. They are two of the coolest people we know (and we know lots of people).
We took this picture inside Pottery Barn as they sampled the uber comfortable and fairly heavy bathrobes.

We went to a restaurant called Mi Piachi for dinner, and as you can tell, it was pretty good.

Me and my beautiful wife!!!

What a weekend!!!

Cory and I had a great weekend. After me getting off early on Friday we headed for one of our favorite spots- Disneyland. On our way we stopped by another of our favorite spots (Chick-Fil-A) for some grub.
Tonight we went to my cousin's graduation celebration and on our way home we stopped by a Starbucks that quickly became Cory and I's favorite layout of Starbucks for all time!!!
Enjoy the pictures!
