Sunday and Monday of this past week, we got to spend a little time at the "Happiest Place on Earth" (no, not the Hotchkiss one). Cory and I are always interested to see the little snippets of conversation that you hear as you walk past other people. Sometimes it doesn't seem like people are having the happiest time on earth. We heard one dad say to his kid, "I have already taken.....away, keep it up and you will lose....". My dad overheard one set of parents reasoning with their three year old outside our hotel that if they went on the bus to go to Disneyland instead of taking a cab, that it would be one less ride that they could go on at Disneyland. What is that? What is that?
We are also intersted to see that some people would rather do things around Disneyland rather than enjoy Disneyland itself. After waiting for a painstakingly long time to catch the elevator down to breakfast, we found that it was because 10 young girls and one unlucky mom had decided that they were going to stop on every floor on the elevator. Oh brother....
But we decided that the thing that makes Disneyland great is the people. I heard some people complain about how the food at Disneyland is too simple, others lamented that the lines were too long. However, we were able to thoroughly enjoy our time because of the people!
This month brings a birthday milestone (25) for my mother. I have a great mom. For her birthday, she buys all of her kids and their spouses and kids passes to Disneyland and says we all have to go together. Her birthday. We get passes. Amazing. Who knows the next time that my whole family will be together at Disneyland. We really enjoyed getting to hang out with them and talk in line and take pictures!
So, thanks mom!!! Happy Birthday!!!!
Be looking for some more pics soon!

Oh, and thanks for blogging again -- such happiness!
Wow, I thought I was a lot older than 25! That's an amazing feat considering I have a 27 year old son! It was my joy to have the whole family together.
Hey Bill and Corey,
It was cool to see you this last weekend (Corey, sorry we missed you...we left church early...I know "Lame" uh?)
