WOW

In our recent slew of sweet restaurant posts, let's talk WOW (that's World of Wings) Wingery.
Yesterday at lunch I got a call from my good friend Jay Hobbs saying that his new employer was hoping for a picture to be taken for the newspaper of their new restaurant at which Jay has recently started working.
Ever the eager-beaver for photo business opportunities, I decided to oblige and in return I was paid in wings!!!
So tonight, Cory and I decided to check out the "Wingery" and to do a little winging...

Cory saying pretty much the only thing that could be said.
Me echoing her sentiments...
The aftermath- we were pretty excited.
Here we are with our very talented and good looking server Jay.
Here are the remains of what we were too stuffed to finish. Our wings were covered in Thai Peanut sauce. You may not think that would be appetizing, but it was delish!!!

Thanks to Veena (the owner) and Jay for this opportunity and the great food!!!

What a night...

Do you see me in this picture? I am excited. Let me tell you why. Two weeks ago (I know, we are behind on blogging...) Cory and I enjoyed a LOVELY dinner at the Summit House Restaurant in Fullerton. We were very graciously given a gift card and thoroughly enjoyed a lovely evening on the patio.

Cory can't even express how excited she is....

Wow. The steak there was probably one of the best steaks that I have ever had in my entire existence (and I have had a few...) So flavorful and perfectly cooked!

Here we are with our Delish dessert. It was scrut.

To the one who gave us the giftcard (and you know who you are...) thank you very much. It was incredibly awesome gift that was totally undeserved. You da man...

The Haps

Well hello there! It has been a while since we have blogged and that is probably because we have been crazy busy!!! Life is very good and we are thoroughly enjoying it.

Last week was our annual beach camp. This camp is entirely high energy, high excitement. Cory and I had the awesome priviledge to be counselors along with and awesome group of folks pictured below!!! (You can tell that we are a serious bunch).
65 kids came with us to the camp with the theme of CHANGE.
Our speaker was Andrew Calloway. He brought it. Cory and I are still thinking through all the things from the Word that we heard. But here are some of the things that I have been thinking through. Holiness. It is commanded of us. One of the things that I have come away from camp with is a more earnest desire to ask God to make me hate sin the way that He hates it and love righteousness the way that He loves it.

I am praying for continual heart change in myself as well as all the high schoolers who came. I pray that God will continue to bless CHANGE for this year to come!!!
