One of the many blessings of marriage is being allowed to spend quality time together with the person that you dig being around the most. On Friday night Cory and I took some time to do something that possibly wasn't the most exciting thing to do and something else that was pretty exciting. The cool thing for us was that being able to be together made both things almost equally enjoyable, because we were able to experience them and enjoy them together. Truly we are better together. The first thing that we did was to go to the County-famous Orange County fair (hey, what could we do, our D-land passes are blacked out?).
It was an interesting place and unfortunately we were too cheap to pay the George Washington to get in to see the World's largest horse and world's largest steer. We did see the top of the steer at one point over the barricade that they put up so people like us don't get freebies. The backbone of the cow was literally 6'8"!!!! It must have been related to Babe the Blue Ox.
We walked around for a while and enjoyed the scenery and browsing through all the over-priced trinkets. The second thing we were able to do was actually quite exciting. We went to one of our favorite places to eat- Stonefire Grill. We crossed another one of the Stonefire locations off of our list (Stonefire-if you are reading this blog, we have got some good locations scouted out for you in Corona. Please have your people get in touch with my people.) The food was soooo good and we actually ended up getting our whole meal for 11:38 which was fabulous!!!!
However, the greatest thing about this night was that I got to spend it with the love of my life-Cory!!!!
Check out some pics below and some more artsy pics at http://billblakeyphotography.blogspot.com/.
Also, we may be trying to post some videos of a very exciting pig race that we watched in the near future....

This was actually Cory's first time to see an animal in the wild....
Doesn't she look happy!!!
Stonefire has the best breadsticks on the planet.
I devoured my meal....
That guy to my left wanted to eat my shirt.

The Ferris Wheel at night. Is that how you spell it?
